Profil
Hellesylt Camping is idyllically situated by the Geirangerfjord in Hellesylt. The Geirangerfjord and its surroundings are listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and in 2006 it was named the best destination by the internationally renowned journal National Geographic. Visit the … Geirangerfjord from Hellesylt. Stay at Hellesylt Camping, park your car, and take a guided ferrietour on this magnificent fjord. It is approximately 200 meters to the ferry dock. Experience Geiranger and make a later departure back to Hellesylt. Hellesylt Camping was opened to guests in 1982, and we have later expanded and tripled the number of pitches. From 2020 we have about 100 pitches, and about 200 meters of the campsite have shoreline and pitches towards the fjord. In 2019 we upgraded our sanitation. We also have our own little marina. The campsite is close to the town center, yet sheltered and quiet. About 100 meters to grocery stores. Bank, post office, cafe and restaurant are also close by. In walking distance you will also find a nice beach with a distinctive bath house with plunge tower. If you want to be active, there are good opportunities for hiking, cycling and kayaking in the area. Good fishing opportunities.
